The new Ebonite Fireball outperforms its price point and will be a great addition to any level of player’s bag. The Fireball has a modified lightbulb core shape and a skid-flip cover, GB10.7, with HK22. This is a great go-to piece on conditions with less volume for a competitive bowler, but newer bowlers will love its color, performance, and value.

Strengths
Easy length and a strong move at the back end are the Fireball Purple/Gold's big selling points. Its stronger cover helps it match up much better than the original Fireball for fresher medium and dry conditions.

Weaknesses
The Fireball Purple/Gold's medium-strength core and pearlized cover are not designed to handle heavier oil. The box finish can be sensitive to flatter patterns and is best used on such conditions after stronger balls have removed some of the oil and created more free hook.

Overall Summary
The Fireball Purple/Gold uses the same symmetrical weight block as the original Fireball but with a stronger pearlized coverstock. The stronger cover increases the traction through the oil, providing more total hook and enough motion to complement any other ball in the current Ebonite line.
