Wrapped in the QR-7 Hybrid (HK22) reactive coverstock and finished at 500/1500/4000 Siaair, this ball will read earlier in the mids for maximum traction on medium lane conditions.

The Kinetic line has been a staple for Track for what seems like forever. Track fans want technology, reliability, and performance when they invest in a new product, and Kinetic balls always hit the mark. We are excited to introduce the new Kinetic Cobalt, a hybrid featuring the performance-enhancing HK22 base cover with the QR-7 additive package. This version of the Kinetic with the new cover is finished with a smooth 4000 finish to help maintain the Kinetic’s angular motion, but this version has more mid-lane traction and continuation through the backend.
Strengths
Easy traction in the midlane, strong back end recovery, and medium hook potential are the biggest strengths of the Kinetic Cobalt, giving it versatility across a wide variety of patterns.
Weaknesses
Any ball that can be used across all four of our test patterns has few weaknesses, but, like all balls, the surface may sometimes need to be adjusted to match up to the oil pattern based on the bowler's style.
Overall Summary
The Kinetic line is the latest to see the introduction of Brunswick's HK22 resin formula. The change to the cover increased the hook in the oil and the responsiveness to the dry compared to previous Kinetics to make the Kinetic Cobalt useful across a variety of conditions.
