Strengths

The Magic Gem's strong midlane traction and back end reaction are its biggest strengths. With plenty of overall hook, it provides more downlane motion than the original Gem.

Weaknesses

This ball is strong and continuous, and it needs enough oil in order to be at its best, so there are better options for drier lanes. Lower-flaring layouts might be useful for bowlers wanting to get the ball to burn off and be very smooth at the breakpoint.
