Strengths

The Optimum Idol is very good at creating a strong, smooth motion across a variety of patterns. With a bit more back end than the original Idol, it makes a strong motion that controls the breakpoint.

Weaknesses

At the box finish, the Optimum Idol can struggle to get through the front of the lane later in the session. As one of the only weaknesses of the ball, the good news is that it responded very well to surface changes in our testing for bowlers who want to change where it fits in their bag.
